Company History:

Sandlapper Controls, Inc. (SCI) was incorporated in the state of South Carolina on April 20, 2014. The two owners, Phillip E. Wilson and Kent D. Walters started SCI to liquidate used and obsolete stock of control parts from a successful company they have owned and operated for 30 years (Control Management, Inc.). This liquidation was done via an eBay store and a website.

As SCI was liquidating used and obsolete stock, they were also in the process of acquiring direct wholesaler contracts from multiple manufactures of building control equipment. Siemens wholesaler agreement was executed in March 2015. SCI has also secured wholesale agreements in late 2015 and early 2016 with Veris, Belimo, Schneider, Siral, & ACI.

In January of 2016 SCI created a contracting division to provide installation services for control components and systems. This includes both electronic and pneumatic controls along with computer network wiring and cabling.

As of today, SCI has 30 fulltime employees engaged in website development, order fulfillment, accounting, marketing, business development, customer support, contracting and installation services, engineering, project management, sales, test, and inspection.

The owners of Sandlapper Controls own other related businesses. This gives Sandlapper Controls the ability to quickly leverage additional resources to meet all workload requirements.
